A superb 5 star accommodation nearly on the beach at Pwllheli with great views and 3 ensuite bedrooms and 10 mins walk from town. Mr & Mrs B "The property was amazing and right next to the beach through it's own gate. It was very peaceful and the views from the balcony were outstanding across the bay" STS Grade 5

This house was lovely/comfortable with good access to beach via back gate, but not suitable for very young as over 3 floors and only 1 stairgate which didnt fit. Requests for more was turned down by owner/Helen(who wasnt very friendly) her husband who we met on leaving was so lovely/friendly. The house was clean apart from washing machine which was black with mould & had to be bleached before use.

Stopped here first week in October 2022 and loved every minute. The place is set in a fantastic location only 2 mins from beautiful beach. The views from the lounge are breathtaking and as it’s south facing always warm. The sea fishing is fantastic and the size of the sea bass is amazing

You can't fault the location if your a beach lover or the views. The house itself is comfortable with everything you could want, they even provide washing powder, dish washer tabs etc, so really thoughtful.
The town itself unfortunately hasn't got alot to offer in the way of pubs and restaurants, but there's plenty a close drive away. The owners were on the end of the phone if required but also leave you too it.
Overall we had a lovely time.

Is it time dog owners should make their views known? I hate to leave a negative review because I know how hard owners work to promote their properties but just what is “dog friendly”. The Gorselands is a lovely property in a good location but although advertised as dog friendly dogs are only allowed on the ground floor and certainly not on the beds or furniture “because dog hairs get everywhere“ The Gorselands is a 3 story house and the ground floor is a kitchen with adjoining bedroom so the dogs had to stay in the kitchen to obey the rules.
During our stay some days were torrential rain which meant the dogs should be shut in the kitchen all day while we relaxed in the top floor lounge, NO WAY! within half an hour the dogs were winging and barking to be with us, one of our dogs has separation anxiety and normally follows me everywhere so I’m sure it felt as though it was being punished.
We paid £1300 which included paying for 2 dogs, not sure it cost twice as much to clean up after 2 dogs.
Surely dog friendly properties should be exactly that, the rules are unacceptable for dog lovers.

The Gorse is located very near to the beach accessed via path through sand dune. If you’ve mobility issues turn left out of gate and use the path until you reach tarmac path .
Very quiet location with beautiful views across the Bay .
